Hello and thank you in advance for any help I can get.
I have a Whistler 1065. I live in Sudbury but will be moving to Elliott Lake shortly. I have programmed this unit 2 years ago, however my husband who passed away sometime ago bought a key for one of the programming software I can't find it and that's okay.
I'm using ARC 500. I can send and receive to the unit just fine however I cannot hear anything on the FleetNet system. I know I'm doing something wrong and after 8 days of trying I'm at wits end.
I have all the frequencies, talk groups, Etc however as I stated,I just can't get the unit to decode with P25 system. Prior I did program the unit as I said and it decoded just fine. For some silly reason I cleared the unit and since then I've been unable to decode anything. It's something I am doing I know. I have searched high and low for perhaps an ARC file or instructions on how to program the 1065.
I do not recall having this type of trouble two years ago. The unit is working just fine as I said it's me I'm clearly having a mental block and I'm so frustrated that Friday is garbage day and I swear I will put this unit in the garbage on Friday. I am so frustrated!
Having said that, any help guidance would be much appreciated.
