I have a new pro 96 and new win 96 software but I will not work cant hear burlington truncked system nor can i hear Cherry Hill police which is EDACS

The Cherry hill system is a little weak if you ask me. I can hardly hear it in Medford with an 850mhz yagi pointed right at it. Camden city actually comes in much better and its farther away. I don't have the pro96 or win96 so I can't help much with that but with the edacs systems make sure you have the correct frequencies entered into a dedicated bank set for edacs wide in the correct order. I don't have a digital trunked scanner yet but I have the Burlington Co. system entered into my 780XLT and it seems to follow it ok, all the talks group id's listed in the database are showing up. Double check the programming and be sure you're with in range of the system.

In Win96, for Burlington CO make sure each of the trunked frequencies are set to MOT under Rx Mode. Do this by clicking in each FM to the right and select MOT in the Pulldown. Then in the center near the top where Type is, click on the down button and select MOT. For Motorola you only need the Controls and Alt Control Channels..

For Cherry Hill EDACS bank do the same for freqs and type except select EDACS for these settings. Also, make sure the EDACS frequencies are lined up in LCN Logical Channel Number starting with Channel 1 not channel 0.

The 01 is for channel 1 and 02 for channel 2 etc.

You're going to need to set the tables for Burlington CO also, however, unzip this attached p96 file which I have them set for you.
Bank 1 is Burlington CO
Bank 2 is Cherry Hill
Bank 3 is Camden CO
Bank 4 is Troop A South NJSPD.

hey Frank it is working well, I locked out the police and hear all the fire and ems, i am a medic and ride with Maple Shade Rescue Sta. 108. Thanks for all your help
