With Indianapolis Police Dept. a code 3 means the officer is out of service eatting. I dont know if its the same for HCSD or not.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone have a list of all of the codes? I couldn't find one in the database.

Indiana, to my knowledge , does not have a 'standard" codes list. If agencies are using codes, they created them themselves..I know here in Dearborn they use "Code 7" as Lunch/Dinner..

I may be a little late on this or may be of help. Most 10 codes and signals are universal through Indpls. Marion County, & Hendricks county area. (for the most part).

Generally:

Code 1 emergency (officer needs assistance)
Code 2 personal hygiene (bathroom break)
Code 3 lunch, dinner, etc.
