Hey I'm New and need some help

First of all I from Huntington WV and I glad I found this form. I need info on two things

First of all I'm a train watcher and I like listen to trains on my scanner I just wonder does Amtrak use CSX freq 160.230 in Huntington or do they got there own and if they do does anyone knows it

And Marshall University Police Dept use to be on 155.310 and they move to 452.6375 but now they move again I wonder if anyone got there new freq Thanks!!!

Just do a VHF and UHF search. Should be able to find them. Also Google for rail freqs. There is a certain number of them with Ch#'s Enter them all. Never know what you may hear.

Where is some great spots with out getting arrested to watch trains in Hunington, Wv area?

I'm not to sure about any rail freqs but, I do monitor 160.230MHz on my way down to Hunington.

Any infomation will be greatly appreciated

I go to the DHHR in west end of Huntington and watch the trains. They got tables outside of the buliding and when its warmer sit on the sidewalk that almost near the train tracks. Plus during youth baseball season vinsion got a baseball field you can watch trains and baseball games too.

I don't know where the locations you are talking about are located. Could you please provide more infomation?

The only trainwatching I get to do around Hunington is when I travel WV Route 2 from Pt Pleasent to Hunington. I love going to Hunington that way. You sometimes get to see CSX trains plus great views of the river.

Thanks I went to antoher website and I got all the Amtrak Freq and it does use 160.230 and also i got marshall new freq thanks
