You should make a sticky about MilAir and for Federal stuff-

Facts: All federal information is classified and there is NO database of info to search for the info for the civilian. If you want to find accurate up to date info regarding Mil Air, you will have to have knowledge of the installations near to other aviation centers. You must then use the Aviation Databases such as www.airnav.com to do a search for related info. Actual military ground/base info will NOT be so easily found- as noted... its CLASSIFIED!

Any info listed on this and any other public database is found by hard work and patience. And per our guidelines, if siad agencies/bases/installations ask us in writing to remove siad info we comply.

There is a reason that the information is not out there: It is illegal to divulge classified information. Taking it down if they protest is no good. You have already broken the law. That would be like trying to tell a cop that he shouldn't give you a ticket, because you slowed down to the legal speed limit as soon as you saw his lights. Divulging classified information, no matter how harmless it may seem, would be inviting more trouble than it is worth, IMO.

Not true. As I understand it, the illegality in divulging classified information is only if you have approved access to it. For example, as in being a government employee. Otherwise, as joe blow citizen, copying down active frequencies (classified or not) from a scanner and then identifying and revealing them publicly is not breaking the law. Check your facts.

Regardless...........the point is, posting them on here is inviting more trouble than it is worth, in my opinion. You can take the above argument and throw it in the Feds' faces as they are crawling up your arse, if you want. But, if you take that attitude, then don't go around whining about how your civil rights are being violated.

Many aero charts list military frequencies on them the info is NOT classified. There are many sites out there with milair frequencies also.
Most military aircraft have the capability of encrypted secure communications and will use it when needed.
