It's difficult to find many good examples of "hidden" or "stealthy" radios. Some like this one...

... were more of a novelty item.

Then there are fictional representations of raadio that can be hidden in time of war like from the movie Red Dawn with this fake frozen dinner of a radio...

Does anyone have any more examples of this type of radio?

Here's my hidden radio...

That's well hidden, I cannot even see it! ;)

Seriously though, some of these shortwave radios now days could fit in the flip top part of the lid and you could route the antenna and power leads out the back of the box. Some of the control heads for amateur radios could fit in there with the microphone being stored in the box. The yet to be released RH-200 control head for the SDS100/SDS200 might be able to work as well. Since some wives "have issues" with radio equipment in the living room, something like this could possibly satisfy them.

A Cereal box could be placed over top of your sds200 or maybe a tissue box ? But then the Wifey will wonder Why you have a box of Cereal at your desk ? :cautious:

Or just use ProScan and the laptop that's probably already next to you. I have 6 "stealth" radios upstairs and other than the noise coming out of the BT speaker downstairs no one knows they even exist.
