From 03:06 - 4695 Aberdeen Avenue (Colorado & C-470 area) Engine 15 reports flames in the air from a couple miles out. Per Engine 17 - Two blocks out with a Fully Involved two story single family home. Per Command defeinsive fire only, need exposure protection on the C Side. Heavy fire on floors 1 & 2. Command requesting one additional Engine, add Engine 18.

BC1, E14, E15, E17, E18, S12, M17, C10, EMS11 responding or on scene. Using LFR Ops 2 / Online

Fire is under control, all companies are still working. Two crews going in to conduct the Primary Search reporting all clear on the A Side and total collapse of Floor 2 on the C/D Sides. M17 now conducting a Primary on the basement.

Primary search complete on all of the non-collapsed parts of the home, investigator is on scene and still waiting for Salvation Army.

That's normally Red Cross, Salvation Army provides canteen services and rehab for the FF's.

HIGHLANDS RANCH - A fire Tuesday morning destroyed a home. No injuries were reported.

Littleton firefighters responded to the home in the 4600 block of Aberdeen Avenue. The call came in shortly after 3 o'clock Tuesday morning.

When firefighters arrived they found a two-story residence with fire on both the first and second floors. Part of the roof also collapsed.

The structure and contents of the home have been declared a total loss. The cause is of the fire is under investigation.
