Hello all ~

I have a question about Hillsboro PD nets. It seems like after about 1am they close dispatch 1. I dont think I hear them on Wash 1 dispatch. So where do they go? Anyone know?

And what channel is Tigard on? I dont see they have a dispatch on file here? Please help....

Tigard, Tualatin, and Sherwood share the same dispatch on South 1 (60848); Tigard units are 2xxx, Tualatin are 9xxx, King City are 33xx, and Sherwood are 7xxx.

As for Hillsboro after 1AM, I'm not sure if they go to Common Law 1 (60208), Public Safety 1 (53520) or straight over to Service Net (60272). They may even combine with Beaverton PD's dispatch. I'm not too clear on that since I don't regularly monitor Hillsboro talkgroups.

HPD goes to Service net as I recall...though I haven't been up that late for work in a while.

at the top of the database page for Washington County, I posted a note that says:

After 0100 or so, BPD and HPD both use Service Net as dispatch... They re-name it "City Net" during this time. They "re-split" the nets again at 0600 or 0700 and return to their normal channels...

Hope this helps

The reason for the change is WCCCA (to save money) condenses everyone on City Net TG 60272 HEX eb7.
It usually occurs Sun-Thur at 0100-0600 and on Fr-Sat at 0200-0600.
The only agencies who don't use are those who normally use WCSO channels.
I'm not actually sure if Beaverton is still using it or if they have there own Dispatcher 24/7? I haven't listened in a while.

The 2 biggies who use it are Hillsboro and Tigard.
If there is a Signal 2 called on this channel during City Net, all units will switch to Common Law /LAW 1.

This is programmed as channel 3 in all PD unit radios.

The 4 agencies that regularly use "South City" (Tigard, Tualatin, King City and Sherwood) join HPD on "Service Net" and they call it "City Net". BPD does not but they once did. They stay on their own TG 24/7 as of now. The SO and what were once considered the West cities stay put 24/7.

Bringing back an old topic...

I had my scanner on overnight (9PM to 6AM) a week ago while doing store inventory (good entertainment), but I never once heard a Forest Grove, Cornelius, or North Plains PD unit dispatched. Who regularly dispatches for them, and is there a way to clarify that in the DB?

All 3 are dispatched by WCSO; They kind of blend in with regular WCSO traffic.

And does your store inventory invovle people in red and grey shirts? :p

Fgpd, Cpd, & Nppd

CPD's unit numbers start with 8xxx
FGPD numbers start with a 4xxx
and North Plains are 34xx

As previously stated, they are all dispatched from SO1

Cornelius also uses their Channel 5 (59312) for general chatter between their city units.
This can be kind of a funny one at times.
