Hillsborough County Sheriff(Florida)

Last week(first of June 2022) was receiving HCSO on Pro-96 and Pro-2096. As of now, I am not receiving any HCSO Comms, but I am receiving Hillsborough Fire on the same Trunk System. I am even receiving Tampa Police on the same Trunk System. Did I miss something?

Hillsborough county is transitioning from the old EDACS system to a new P25 Phase 2 system. The sheriff talkgroups are all Phase 2 on the new system which the Pro-96 and Pro-2096 cannot decode. In addition, the frequencies of the new system are all 700 mhz which your scanners cannot trunk track. I suggest that you click on Report and request that your thread be moved to the Florida forum. The members there will be able to better advise you on the status of the 2 systems.

Thank you. I was listening one day and gone the next. I figured they were switching, but I couldn't find anything. That's when I came here. I knew someone would enlighten me. Sad that both my scanners won't work anymore for HCSO.
