Terrible car accident on hiway 115 and k in penrose. At least 5 fatalities reported. Last i heard that the hiway was still blocked.

FREMONT COUNTY - Five people were killed in an accident on Highway 115 in Fremont County Monday afternoon.

It happened around 5:15 p.m. Investigators say a driver drifted onto the shoulder of the road then over-corrected and slammed into a pick-up truck.

The three people in the pick-up were killed instantly as well as the two people in the car that is believed to have caused the accident. The names of the victims are not yet being released.
