Holding on a frequency during scanning on R20

FYI, to hold/pause on a frequency while scanning depress the [Dual Watch] button. To resume scanning depress the [Mode Scan] button for 1 second. Very simple and I am amazed the user manual does not include this information. The R20 is a fantastic receiver; however, I do have to admit the user manual is VERY POOR.

I do thnk I saw that in the manual, somewhere. I do agree, however, that the manual is horrible. I'm a complete newbie, beginner and no nothing about this stuff and I'm lost with this unit. I printed out a copy of the Uniden BCD396T and that manual goes into detail on almost everything, mainly for the beginner. I have the R20 and I have a BCD396t on order.
