Anybody have any idea why a Home Patrol II would not be working in Hilo using the internal (zip code) database?

Anybody have any idea why a Home Patrol II would not be working in Hilo using the internal (zip code) database?

Don't have an HP2, but zip code scanning with all favorites lists turned off works on BCD436HP and SDS100. Picked up traffic on Hilo, Pepeekeo and Laupahoehoe trunked sites along with Hilo airport tower and approach.
