I cooked a IC on my HP-1. Does anyone know what IC406 is? I need a Mfr. Part #. While where at it, How about S402 to.

IC406 and S402 are manufacturer part identification numbers and not the actual part number. You would need the manufacturers parts list to cross reference that particular integrated circuit number with an actual device number.

Yeah, I am hoping someone who might have worked on one or has one opened can at least give me a start to where to look. The package looks to be a SOF-4. But I can't be sure until someone reads the numbers off the IC. Would really help is someone also had a Service Manual to look up the part number and mfr. part #.
So that is why I asked for a mfr. part # of IC406. I then can order the part from Mouser or Digikey.
The IC was cooked enough that I cannot read the labeling on it.

In the same boat. For what it's worth, I pulled out a bad one and could make out the letters ?RX. If it helps.
