Houston Repeater Programmin Help

I have a question that maybe someonecan help me with.

I'm trying to program the Houston Galleria repeater into my radio. I went into Repeaterbook and looked it up: North American Repeaters/Texas/Houston. It' listed as 444.300, Houston, Galleria.

When I use the programming software on my Yaesu FTM 500 and enter that frequency, everything else on my software pre-populates include offsets, and I enter that it's TSC and the number, i.e. 123.0

After uploading the software, I tuned to that now programmed channel on my radio, and got nothing even though I know there was an active net going on.

So, I tried doing things. I went and changed the Tone Mode to REV TONE, and I could now hear the net, but when I keyed up I was not hitting the repeater/cannot be heard.

Any suggestions?

you probably want tone enc, sounds like the repeater is not transmitting a tone.

I see three repeaters listed for that location. The one you mentions looks like it has a split tone of 123.0 and D023.
