I have noticed a few items in my county (Mobile, AL) are in the database, but in reality the business has gone out of business or the business listed has dropped radios and now use VoIP or some other internet based communication or cellphones, etc. How do I submit, you should delete this info from the database because it's no longer relevant/out of date report?

The DB Admin will usually tag the frequency as "deprecated". Then it will automatically purge off of the database. But we get corrections sent on closed businesses , and they will get purged. Now one thing I've seen, and is something to be aware of. We've had it where business A, located in building at A st, will close, go out of business, a new business, business B will move into A's old location and actually take over the old radio system. But it's better to err on the side of caution, let us remove it, we can always add it back in.

To piggyback on @W1KNE's post, it's a relatively new feature where frequencies and talkgroups set to Deprecated status will auto-delete after 30 days. That is normally enough time for those paying attention to database changes to alert us to something that might still be in use before it disappeared completely.
