we could not verify the certificate: reason = untrusted
i get that from that link

We've given you two links to the manuals and, despite working for others, they don't work for you, so I don't know what to do. We have suggested you use the programming software and given you instructions, but you'd rather do it manually. You were given the frequencies to program in, and told how to listen to them without programming them in. At this point I feel as though I've done everything I could short of flying out there and programming it myself (that ain't happening). Good luck to you and I hope someone else will help you, but I'm out.

Maybe I’m missing something, but can’t you go to…

Browse Library
United States
Nationwide
Agencies
Citizens Band
Select it and choose a scan list and import it

Or am I completely wrong (again)?

Edit…just tried this on my upgraded PSR-800 and it worked just fine.

Someone again (pointlessly) asking for help and not doing what's recommended by several different people...

Hopefully he'll just buy a CB transceiver. That way his frequencies don't need programmed, and it will perform better on that band than his scanner anyways.

What web browser are you using? You should be given the option to connect to the site anyway. If not then you may have a malware infection of some sort preventing you from connecting to legit webpages

after reading the easy to read manual, i could not find a "input the frequency" that one would expect.
the closest way might be to set up the C.B. service band and the send each channel to a system that you created beforehand.
kind of like an empty bank and the send the frequencies into it. you would have to do that for each frequency.
trip the squelch and step through the band while checking the list of frequencies and use the arrows.
i would really recommend using a program somehow.

Or just do it like I posted. Import on the scanner from the library. Easy peasy.

, just use the CB band service search. That's what it's there for.

Or just import CB from the library to a scanlist. All done on the scanner and takes about a couple of minutes. That way you can enable and disable the CB scanlist and not have to go to search all the time to listen. 😂

Seems like someone already posted that, but I’m not sure who????

A slight variation of what I was thinking, fair enough. But the fact remains the same that the frequencies are already programmed into the scanner. No punching in 40 frequencies off the computer screen.

OP just needs to follow the instructions above, *exactly* as described.
