How do u program a Unication G4?

Hi, I'm all new to this, and i wanna learn how i can program my Unication G4, I want to program P25 Trunking, but i have no idea. Can someone help me program it?

A few suggestions:
1. Install Unication PPS on your windows pc;
2. Get a premium Radio Reference subscription so you can use the import feature in PPS;
3. Watch YouTube videos on programming a Unication pager.
4. Read every post in the Unication forum here on RR.

I agree with all of these. Honestly, with a premium account on RR, some basic programming knowledge from watching youtube videos, you can download systems to the PPS and start loading the info onto knobs. It seems daunting at first, but radioreference and the tutorial videos help, as does the knowledge from the forums here.

I was able to get a copy of the PPS file that one of my friends in the area had created. That was a good way to see exactly how it all went together. I then modified what he had done did to suit my purposes. Eventually I developed my own PPS from scratch using Excel to make the CSV files. I uploaded the talk groups, the UID alpha tags and the sites.

Another option: Unication has a code plug file sharing site. I used it initially and downloaded a few (in and out of my area) to learn programming techniques.

With ICORRS- there are many counties covering a wide area. Narrow things down to which county you want to monitor - aka near u and start there with programming data

Absolutely agree. Just the closest tower to you. Once you get that worked out, you might find it's enough.

Be sure to pay attention to the use of wildcards (usually in the similar format e.g., FF, FFFF in hex), they are good shortcuts to get you started quickly. Pay attention to the fields, some want Decimal and other require Hex numbers.
