When you say the shorther has two guys, do you mean two guy points or two guy wires?
Two guy wires, 90 degrees offset. Most wind, 95 percent, is from one direction. U-bolt with stainless rings tightened to mast two-thirds up. Guy wires thimbled through the rings down to plated rings at roof.

How many guy points does the tallest one have?
Three, 120 degrees offset.

Also, how are both masts mounted to your house?
Flat top roof. One is attached to a parking lot light at a corner, mast to light's pole attachment. Other, heavier is a on a 5 foot tripod with a telescoping mast. This mast comes with plates for guying, 5 holes 'bout 1/4" which is perfect since I only use 1/8" stranded wire.

Hi again,

Quoting myself;
"Let's put an end to this with the correct answer, please?"

Then Hoffy (as in James?) counters;
"The correct answer is : You don't know that 10 feet won't make a difference.
I have seen many times when 10 feet or less took an antenna out of a null area and put it in the clear."

Yeah, you can acomplish the same thing moving horizontally, somethimes pulling the car up a couple of feet (or inches with UHF) makes the difference.

It just went downhill from there on and on another page and a half. This is about the tenth thread today in this forum alone where a guy asks the time and you guys tell him how to build a clock.
