how to enter ID talk groups??

Hello again the problem is I cannot seem to enter TG ID into a bc246t scanner following all directions it says error I have entered all frequencies for durham region ontario. It is a motorola type 2 analog. I entered E2 as the system then all frequencies but it will not accept the TG ID in DEC maybe I have to convert it or Is the E2 entry wrong

Talkgroups are always in decimal for trunking scanners. If the talkgoup is active you should be able to save it to a quick save group by pressing hold when it is displayed, then enter. Then select the system to save it to using the scroll control, then enter again.

To enter a talkgroup manually, press menu, program system, enter, select the system using the scroll control, enter, scroll to edit group, enter, scroll to the group enter, scroll to edit channel enter, scroll to new channel enter, input the talkgroup ID, enter.
