How to exit programming on PSR-500

Can anyone tell me how to exit programming and return to the previous action on the PSR-500?

I'd expect to be able to leave programming mode by hitting PGM, Enter or Select, but instead it seems like you can only do it with Scan, Srch, etc. That makes me 'leave my place'.

Is there a better way?
