Hello,
I've been using a Uniden 125 for several months now, and I'm looking to record the audio while listening. I'm using a splitter, a male-to-male jack cable connected to an Olympus dictaphone. As soon as I connect it, the scanner picks up interference even from 1m away. So, it seems to be an issue with the cable. How can I fix this, please? Would a ground loop isolator or ferrite beads help? I'm new to this, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I use a UGreen cable, I thought it was good but I will test with another brand 😉
