How to use smilies in posts

Sometimes I wanted to put a smiley in my posts but didn't know how. What are the html codes for these things?

Just hit go advanced and they come up

I don't mean choosing one icon by the title of the post but to put a smiley in a post like you did..

I found out that when you put these : : and the word inside it will make the picture but doesn't work for all for example :thumbs up: doesn't work but :lol: does..

AAHhhhh.. got it, had to go to USER CP, change the message editor interface from basic to standard.. :roll:
