How's this antenna??

Any thoughts/ comments on this Procomm scanner antenna? I wanted to use it on my house and clamp it on for multi band coverage (lowband --> 800mhz)

Please let me know your thoughts,

Too short for lowband, and too long for 800 MHz.

No coils or traps for tuning.

Should work better than a Ronco Vegematic! :twisted:

This antenna appears to be the same thing the Pilot Truck Stops are selling for scanners. I was sceptical of paying the money out since it appears to be more attuned to 138-174 MHZ versus VHF low to the 800s.
