To start, I've owned Radio Scanners most of my teen and adult life (I'm 59 yrs young now) and though I don't know everything about them, I do have a decent working knowledge on them.
I currently have a R/S PRO-197 (in good working order and programed), a HP I (which is basically a weather radio now) and a HP II. Recently the HP II has quit receiving Trunk Traffic on the NC VIPER NET, it'll still pick up conventional frequency traffic of simulcast (Trunk) broadcasts for my area, usually Fire & EMS (and weather frequencies) but not much else.
I've tried everything I can think of to fix the issue, I've updated the OP system of the Firmware and the Master HPBD, when that didn't work, I cleared the "user data" and redid the OP system, I even reformatted the SD card and redid the OP system yet again, still nothing.
I know the area agencies I monitor (Alexander, Burk, Caldwell, Catawba, Iredell & State) aren't encrypted because they come in crystal clear on my PRO-197. Any ideas/suggestions would help.
Thanks
