Hey Group,

Looks like the state will be hit pretty hard Thursday.

Just wondering what talk groups have been most active in the past for Hurricane / Nat D.

Thanks,
T Scan

Thanks for posting this. I was planning to ask the same. Any of our friends in the Midlands, Pee Dee, Grand Strand and Lowcountry areas that can report hurricane related talkgroup activity would be appreciated. Those of us in the Upstate aren't likely to hear a lot of that traffic. Anyone in the path of the storm please heed warnings and evacuation notices and stay safe.

So far I have heard:
SCEMD Common
28004 which sounds like DPS or DOT on the evacuation routes.
27141 unknown use
LE Common 9

This isn't specifically related to the hurricane, but yesterday, from the Upstate, I was hearing a lot of traffic stops along I-95 (I think) on LE Common 10. It sounded like an interstate enforcement effort like Spartanburg's annual "Rolling Thunder" with many out-of-area units participating. I'm guessing that activity was suspended yesterday ue to the hurricane activity.

It went on into the night. I was getting good reception here in North Augusta area. Pulling over a lot of New York and PA tags
