Someplace on this site I saw a reference to a User Manual for the IC-R2 scanner, written by Rich Wells N2MCA formerly of Strongsignals .net.

I've tried to contact him with no joy. Can anyone point me to a copy of this manual?

The OP is wanting the Strong Signals manual, not the manufacturer's manual.

Thanks for all the replies, but I have the "official" manual, which sucks. Please read my post, apparently there was/is a much better version written by Rich Wells. That's the one I'd like to have.

After a thorough search of my desktop and backups, I have not located Rich Wells manual, just the Icom one. Sorry I was unable to help!

Thanks. I was hoping for an electronic version, but no joy found yet. I suspect the information on the above link for purchasing a hard copy is also no longer valid, being almost 15 years old. Maybe someone else can provide an electronic copy.

Anyone know what happened to Rich Wells (N2MCA) and his Strongsignals site?
Used to visit there all the time and then it suddenly stopped being updated...
