Does anyone know if there is a repair service available for the old R-7000 receivers?

Try Amateur Radio Service

He services a lot of different radios, and is an authorized Icom service center. He has my old IC-R70 right now.

Thanks Greg. Will do, maybe. I just bought this old receiver and suspect it may need "perking up", but need to replace battery first and LEARN the in and out first.
