Icall for bcd396t

Hello All,

I am looking for some assistance with you using the icall feature. I have programmed in South Brunswick NJ EDACS Trunking system and I have turned i call on. I only have one group in the system named all and that has several talk groups within. I added the wildcard (.no) with the rest of my talkgroups and I have the system set to scan not search mode. Is there something I am doing wrong. I hear the regular police talkgroups but I never hear any of the icalls. Let me know if I am missing details needed to assist me in my question. Should the system be on search or scan mode and do I need to do anything additional to the wildcard?

thats the first thing, just because ICall is available it doesn't mean they use it.

That is Definitely the case in Augusta/Richmond County Georgia. Days will pass without an I-Call, then there may be 15 I-Calls in 30 minutes, then nothing for days.

For EDACS I-Calls you can program in TGID i0000 and then you should get any I-Calls that are broadcast.
