Not sure why my Icecast is constantly crashing lately. It started about 2 weeks ago. Here is the log from the system. Any ideas?

Faulting application oddcastv3standalone.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module lame_enc.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00024b27.

I use Shoutcast for my radio station , if you're not using Lame for encoding try deleting that driver from the program files, it's likely corrupt. If still no go try finding a new Lame encoder to replace it. Sometimes just installing new software can cause conflicts between drivers.

You should also check any support forums for Icecast/oddcast. Somebody else may be having the same issues.

Hope that helps

Can't really find anything on it as the program is years old and not supported much. I'm afraid if I can't fix this I may end up pulling the feed. Nothing has changed at all on the machine. I don't even use that PC. Most of my work is done on my business laptop. I tried the lame_dll v4.0 and it's still crashing randomly.

If your just using Oddcast to send your feed to RadioReference, maybe you should try switching broadcasters. ScannerCast is a great program made specifically for this. It's great! You may want to try it out! Hope this helps! :)

It's not a registry issue. It seems pretty weird. If I run the program without minimizing it to the clock it runs and never crashes. However as soon as I minimize it to the clock the program will crash.
