Icom 9000

I have put up most of the information on the Icom 9000 Wiki pages:

I see two out people have updated the Wiki as well.
I just wanted to start this thread for all the IC-9000 fans out there.
Mine has been running great for years, for both UHF/VHF monitoring and HF listening.

Are there any other R9000 owners on this list?

R9000 Owner

I've had my 9000 for almost 10 years and enjoyed every minute of using it and learning about it's capabilites! A great one-of-kind radio that I'm very fortunate to be able to have.

Gday I had 2 Icom-R9000 receivers but 6 months ago i sold one and replaced it with a R9500 and i maybe planning to buy another one in 2008.

Can you give a quick report on how the 9500 compares to the 9000.
I know a lot of use 9000 owners wish we owned the 9500 as well.
