Anyone knows who is using TG 10379 sounds like a controlled burn or some type of Fire Department training. Mention of using ATVs and not getting to close to the fire. RID 9305701 and 9306861 so far

I have Mesa System 3 programmed in trunk recorder. I noticed the ISP District 52 talkgroup appear on the Mesa System. Is the ISP 52 Disp affiliated with Mesa System 3?

No, most likely, one of the frequencies in S3, is also a frequency in the SAFE-T, and your TR picked up an SAFE-T broadcast. TR is not like an actual scanner or system radio, and doesn't use CC Only functionality etc.

I heard 65-3 on the radio today, starting to hear these callsigns more often. I also hear X units which are headquarters units, and 96- and 80- units which I'm still unsure on.

96 may be gov sec new designation since I no longer hear governor security xx any more? 97 is cps if I recall, 80 ert/swat? I can't recall what the plainclothed detective guys are numbered. FTO's have special designation or have district numbers? And do DHS law enforcement types have ISP designation or like the Marion County ones Homeland Security Xx?

Also, does ISP have mental health units yet like every one else is getting? Ex: IMPD's MCAT XX, Clinician XX

Don't believe ISP has a mental health unit now. FTO's are normal district numbers. But the 3 digits can tell you what zone they are. Example: 52-216 would be a Zone 1 trooper which is the west side of Indy, 52-245 is a Zone 4 trooper (Southeast side of Indy), all the way to Zone 5 or 6 I believe.

97 is IDHS IIRC.

Been some time since I was with the department, but 65-XX were unmarked selective traffic enforcement (speed, permit enforcement for wide load and trailer escort vehicles, etc) cars (Camaros circa 2001-2003). The XX corresponded to the district number.
ISP "Wolfpack"? Targeted Traffic Enforcement?

Are they operating on the usual ISP district talkgroups? Or, do these "wolf packs" use separate TGs?

"Stops throughout the weekend in Elkhart and South Bend resulted in 64 tickets, 130 warnings, two OWIs, 31 drug arrests and four felony arrests. ISP reports 36 misdemeanor arrests, with five defendants being taken to jail and 16 defendants with charges to be submitted to prosecutors."

Keep it up, troops!

I was curious of that too! Also, curious if it is throughout all districts? Or if they just target certain areas.

Looks like they operated out of Bremen post last weekend. I'm sure there are other areas that will be targeted through the spring and summer. They probably won't tell us in advance. What would be the fun of that?
