Icom IC-R20 Scanning between 2 freqs. for an idiot.

I am having trouble following the manual to enable me to scan or search between two frequencies ie. 140 to 150mhz. Am an old guy, so would greatly appreciate simplified instructions. Have scanner set to 5 khz. spacing and nfm, which is OK. Please help. Thanks.
