I have a old Dopsys unit consisting of a old DDF 5931 and a DDF 5980 and its been working well as a mobile unit here in my van for some years.
I've been using a ICOM IC-R10 as a receiver until last week when the Icom failed. I dare say a SMD Capacitor or similar has failed. I have a Icom IC-R6 but unsure if this will work as the audio SP and CI-V are a shared plug on this Icom device. Does this scanner able to provide a RSSI output for the Doppler tracking system, or what modifications are about to provide this?
