I just got a IC-R7100 and part of the display does mot light up I was wondering how hard it is to replace the bulb or better to change the color of the backlight

I just got a IC-R7100 and part of the display does mot light up I was wondering how hard it is to replace the bulb or better to change the color of the backlight

The bulbs(14v grain of wheat) can be replaced by dropping top and bottom covers then 4 screws to tilt the front forward. There you see the solder points for the 12v bulbs. I have one with bulbs replaced and 2 with LEDs. The low intensity resistor has to change to get proper dimming. The LED current must be checked so its less than 20mA or run them in series.
