no,you worry too much,Each band is represented by a frequency say HF is 1.800 MHZ . am is 0.495mhz
you can always put the settings back as long as you wrote them down.
the settings I have work great,before I could barely hear HF at all,it sucked,I had it for 1 day and i wanted to sell it.
Comparing it to a Yupiteru 9000 its right up there now. 440 mhz is ok I didnt touch that.
Now Im keepin it and putting in an audio board to ramp up the audio output,my sound is good with the new speaker so far,now I need louder!
Nothing ventured ,nothing gained.....

settings do this if you like using the antenna it comes with!
This is what I did ,put test jig in ,once on,pull jig out ,open yer squelch whenever it isnt open for every move below.
The first setting does the most to me anyway,
this comes up first .

1285.000.000 --------------frequency (this is reference)
press 8 and .LOCK <<this locks it in !do it quick!
next hit scope until you get to -------scope pages you forward to the next setting.

75 my setting << Keep hitting AFC to get this with squelch OPEN

done hit SCOPE until you see : (not if you pass it it loopsback)

Not responsible if you dont like it,remember I told you,write down old values so you can change back.
