Have had this radio since Aug/2017. I am only years late of looking thru the manual. Problem, trying to use the NTP Time Server feature. According to the manual it is a simple procedure. I have tried serval times to execute this, but my end result is instead of a "Succeed" dialog display, my results is a "Failed display.
I am familiar with setting the time and date manually, but due to storm cells etc, I have always disconnected radio and antenna both for obvious reasons. Recently the time display and date led to some confusion account of pulling the plug . Anyone with some good help would be appreciated.... Thanks.. B.

The radio needs an Ethernet connection to your router. The default settings should let it get an IP address via DHCP, and if it is successful you'll see the address in the Network settings.

Once your radio is on the network, it will try to sync up to its default time server (time.nist.gov) when it boots. This server can get busy or slow to respond, so you could try one of the pool addresses (e.g. pool.ntp.org) and have it try again.

Thanks for the quick help. Your solution sounds like that will be the ticket. Only thing missing here is an ethernet cord. Through the past years I probably had half dozen pass thru my fingers. Searched the house and can't find one, But tomorrow I'll pick one up.
Just thanking you early, and will confirm with you a positive ending.... B.

Thanks for the good help. The ethernet solution was the problem solver. We now have the correct time. Regards, B.

You're quite welcome. Remember that you have another cable to disconnect when the storms come.
