Hi all,
I have a Radio shack Pro-2052 and i had it in a box for a year now so i got it out and all set up some what...I am starting to program in frequencies....I am so new to this and it is gonna take me awhile to figure all the stuff on it out.... I was wondering if you can program 11 meter on it like cb channels??? I hope to learn more soon....

Welcome to the forum.

Your scanner starts at 29.0000, which is FM UHF low.

More specifically, 29.000 is just a little above CB Radio. So unfortunately no, you won't be able to program CB Radio on that particular scanner.

Hi Diane,
Welcome to Radioreference. This is one of the best sites to get frequency information by County/City and programming help. I would be quite pleased to assist in getting your radio set up. A lucky thing, in San Bernardino County, the Sheriff/PD trunking is Motorola Type II Analog, so it will be easy to monitor. The fire/ambulance is VHF as well so again, easy to set up and listen to. There are many ladies in Ameteur Radio but not as many in scanning. I'm glad to see more females getting involved because alot are just as 'techie" and interested in radios as us guys and that pretty cool. Once again, welcome aboard and if you need any help..give me a holler. 8)
