I am going for it. I registered for A Ham In A Day class close to the end of this month. I just hope I get the night off work. I should have this years ago! I was at the open house at the National Weather Service saturday in Grand Rapids, MI., and got the info.

The one day ham in the can class works well for many people. To get the most out of it, do some reading in the license manual so you have understanding of basic concepts as well as answers to possible questions from the pool. Go for it and kick its butt!!

Good Luck. If I passed, anyone can. Check out HamTestOnline™. You can do practice test for free without paying for membership. They have the latest question pools and I found the explanations for the questions I got wrong very helpful in actually understanding the test material.

Is there "Ham in a Day" classes nation wide? I'm looking to go for my Tech License, I'm in Portsmouth, Va.
