im trying to factory reset my bearcat bc890xlt and ive tried everything

Never mind … I thought I found the answer but it was an unsuccessful attempt.

Reset the scanner as follows:
1. Turn off the scanner.
2. Set ENTER/LOCK to Off.
3. Press and hold 2, 9 and E.
4. While holding these keys, turn Power on.

This procedure is actually from the PRO-2036 which is similar to the BC890XLT. Let us know if it worked.
