Image Upload Failure

I'm trying to upload an png file to the wiki but receive this message, any idea what I'm doing wrong?

How big is the file? There's a 2 MB maximum.

A png file is not as common as a jpg, and I have had other programs unable to open the png format. Convert it to a jpg, resend, and you will likely be successful.

I converted it to jpeg format and tried again with the same result -

Are you converting the file using a photo editing program, or simply trying to rename your *.png file? From the error message you're posting, it implies that you are just renaming it, not actually converting.

I used Paint > Save as Jpeg
