I have a uniden BCD396T scanner i bought in jan and had scanner master program for me. Sometime this summer it went silent and i can't figure it out. i have arc software but am not proficient with it. I am trying to listen to Brawley PD, and the Imperial County Sherriffs Dept, as well as the locat fire/emt ambulances, BLM would be nice too. I can still hear El Centro, and don't really care to. I would appreciate anyhelp anyone can provide!!

Imperial, Niland, Brawley. Gotta love those places. I go there for dove hunting and Mexicali for alittle R&R. Anyway, delete everything on your scanner, reset it, initialize it and put every frerquency in by hand. I know it's a pain in the doves butt, but thats what i do. I never use any softwares, i just do everything manually. It takes a while but at least i know what im doing. If all else fails, take the scanner out to the orange groves and introduce it to a 12 gauge shotgun. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Shaeley, If you want post the data file from ARC so it can be reviewed. It's possible your missing control channels or the trunk system isn't set as splinter (I can't remember how the newer Unidens handle those... the old scanner you had to specify). I understand Imperial County you must program each cell that you want to hear since its not simulcast like the San Diego stuff.
