On the ProScan Import RadioReference Web window...

The options under IMPORT section to the right of the screen it has a checkbox:
"Import Only Control Channels on Motorola & P25 Systems"

I have a lot of P25 in my area I want to monitor.

Do I check this box when importing new sites into my favorites lists?

I am a newbie.
I don't know enough about control channels and what checking or not checking will do on import.

I get a bunch of P25 channels now, but I don't know if there are certain sites that would be coming in that would benefit from checking this setting box.

Thanks!

Are we talking (a) trunked radio system(s) or conventional P25 channels? If the latter then the "Import only control channels" setting need not apply. If you're not sure then please post the database link

State system has the most...

A few non-encrypted P25 in Hampden and Hampshire municipal sites as well.

Does that help on the last question in your reply?

Yes, since we're dealing with a trunked radio system you can check the box to import only control channels. As long as the CCs remain as they're listed in the database then the scanner will tune to the applicable voice channels based on the data it gathers from the active CC, even if said voice channels aren't programmed into the FL. Be sure to only scan one site at a time (site hold) as you'll likely miss traffic if you try to scan many (which may or may not be within range to you)
