Indiana SAFE-T EMS Dispatch Talkgroups

Terre Haute region,
Looking through RR Database on the SAFE-T system, I come across on the Dept Of Health list, the North and South Zone transport net dispatch TG’s. Are those in use? Just out of curiosity if anyone can confirm. I’ve got several scanners and I have one set for all LEO channels and the other set for FD channels and so on. The scanner I have for Air/Ground EMS has mostly dispatch channels in it so I figured to ask if the TG’s provided above are used or not? Any info is appreciated, thanks!!

I live in Jasper County (north of Lafayette) and I hear EMS transporting on the Dept Of Health North Zone TG. ... Also, for extra points make sure you get the Air Medical Helicopters group of TGs, there are about 6 TGs now and I hear them on there all the time.

I don't live down there and I have no way to test it, but I bet they do. You may get both TGs, since you're kinda in the central area.

It would make sense based on the tag description “South Dispatch“ lol. I’ll go ahead and program it in and see if I hear anything. Admins monitoring can close this thread unless anyone wants to reopen to provide info!

Been listening for a few days on the south dispatch MED channel. Nothing heard at all, a lot of traffic on Region G M/A 1 though.

Did you get the Med Helicopters TGs also, there is traffic on them quite often, There is like 6 TGs in that group now, with the 2 they added recently. Had to update my SDS200 with the new ones.
Also, yeah the MA TGs are great to hear counties/agencies that you otherwise don't get.

I’ve programmed all of the Department of Health HEMS and air medical helicopter talk groups. The only thing I’ve heard is lifeline air med one statewide and flight watch statewide channel

Is there a chance that that south Dispatch channel is for backup use?

D & A Group and TGs MA 4 and MA 1 have traffic on them often up here.
Here is a good map to tell you which MA TGs to scan in your area.
