38.725 | 3x H60s discussing a prob with one of the helos, lead H60 ID'd to KVUJ tower as ARMY20188. This freq has been reported as used by H60's during a Coca-Cola 600 event, and ARMY20188 was noted as a participant in 2019's CC600, as callsign VIPER188. |
Well i ain't feeling it this year, and since no one has piped up with any definative info, think i will take a pass this year. for anyone who is interested , for ease of searching etc i throw out the following:
copy/paste from 2019:
As for the flyover in addition to the normal CLT VHF freqs I have noted:
307.8
282.325
and for the A2A stuff
300.025
301.225
260.100
KJQF tower on 134.65 is probably going to be the main player if its rotorcraft again see:
Earlier today these two H60s flying in to JQF:

All right folks, howsa bouts a catch-all thread for related activities this weekend? Goodyear Blimp sightings? Info on Mil flyover/demo team type stuff? I don't even know exactly who/what will be the jet flyover and only a vague time frame of "before the race starts". As for the flyover in...forums.radioreference.com
haven't noticed any NOTAMs for the area either that might be related so chopper stuff would get better odds on that front
also i believe it was trumpetman who reported 38.725FM used a year or two back
