Hello everyone, I have a question as a beginner. I'm using an RTL802 USB stick to receive DMR traffic and with DSD+ I can correctly decode TG, ID, Color, etc. I wanted to try using DSD FastLane to record .raw or .amb audio files that I can analyze to recover Motorola Basic Privacy. When I start DSD FastLane, the item in the input -> cablevirtual menu is not selectable. I've already tried reinstalling the Virtual Cable driver without success. I can also confirm that with DSD+ the decoding is perfect. Do you have any ideas? Thanks

Thank you very much. The solution is often so simple, but you have to know it. Could you please help me record RAW or AMB files? I only see options for WAV. Thanks.

I understood that Dsd FastLane could also record audio in Raw format. Do you have any tips for doing this?

You could try the record option though. It will record the audio but it is a huge file if left to run. You hit "r" when the voice is active and try that. Be sure to hit "r" again once they are done. It is done to send samples off to the author for figuring out issues.

It creates .wav files for this. Choose .wav and not .mp3 for this (as .mp3 files are compressed, therefore, not raw).

As what 'cg' said, that's correct...

If you ditch sdr#, and use fmp24.exe (included with fastlane), you can ditch the virtual cables.

There is a file called notes.txt in fastlane directory. Lots of info in there.

While focused in dsd or fmp24, hit ? and it will display what can be done in each program.

"Dsd FastLane potrebbe anche registrare l'audio in formato Raw"

Per questo, crea file .wav. Scegli .wav e non .mp3 (poiché i file .mp3 sono compressi, quindi non grezzi).

Come ha detto 'cg', è corretto...
Unfortunately, I find that the Wav file format doesn't contain the information I need for DMR encoding. I need to figure out how to record and extract RAW files or AMB files.
