Information Request: Okanogan County

Planning a trip to Okanogan County. I have reviewed the information in the RR DB and found it to be a bit less than detailed. I hope to change that with an update- tones, inputs etc.

There are several channels labled 'Sheriffs Dispatch' anyone have any specific information as to these channels use/designation etc. Will be studying FCC licenses in the next few days but hoping for any details to add context.

Any insight into how this county operates- law. fire or ems is appreciated.

Please post here or PM me if you please. I will be submitting results to the DB if I am able to develop better information.

I know monitors and RR members are limited in this part of WA but any input is appreciated.

These are the sheriff and police dispatch freqs. Sheriff and city police are dispatched on the same channel.

159.030/ 155.1900- Brewster/ Methow Valley

155.7300- Omak/ Okanogan

156.210/ 155.6400- Tonasket/ Oroville
