I might be taking a day trip to Ingersoll next weekend to take my daughter to a birthday sleepover.
I cant remember what Fleetnet towers I should be able to recieve along the drive.

By the looks of it after Brantford (I will be on the 403 till the 401) I should be able to pick up Woodstock.
What about London and Port Stanley? Would I be too far away to pick those up?

I plan on loading in all the 6 London OPP talkgroups plus MTO, MNR, etc but what London MOH CACC is out that way? Should I just load all of London CACC in here?

Thanks,

Eric

I've got a friend in Ingersoll and have done a run similar to that a few times. I've never got much (maybe even nothing) out of the Woodstock freqs listed in the database. It could be my antenna (RH77CA) and the fact I was listening in a vehicle though...

Im thinking that Woodstock's tower will cover the area and maybe I could snag Byron.

I will load in all the 6 London talkgroups, the MTO in case they patch and the MNR for the same reason.

I am guessing that London East would be the MOH talkgroup for the area?

Yep london east should be off the woodstock or aylmer tower

Thank you Captain. I did not consider Aylmer.
Aside from 6 Oxford Sierra what else will I hear and what T/G's are normally patched?
Middlesex 6 Julliet and Elgin 6 Papa, Perth 6Nov?

I sometimes hear Alpha units off the Btantford tower using Oxford as their talkgroup.
These units are normally on the 401? Will Alpha units appear on other talkgroups in the area?

Thank You,

Eric

You will likely be able to pickup the Byron tower, but the Woodstock one will give you all you need. Oxford OPP, EMS on London East and any Elgin/Middlesex OPP units over that way will all be on the Woodstock site.

As for patches down this way there usually aren't too many. The only 'standard' one is Chatham/Kent and Elgin... they are almost always patched. Alpha units will normally be on the Oxford or Middlesex talkgroup in that area.
