How do I gain the privilege to post in the Uniden sub forum?

For the Tavern I believe it is based on how many posts you have in other areas and time as a member. In other threads you should be able to post as you did here. Where are you trying to post?

I don't know if you are being blocked from posting or if you just aren't seeing the post you attempted to make. If you are a new member, there will be a delay before your post shows up, as a moderator will need to review it first.

I would just wait, you are a newbie who joined today and the moderators are going to follow your post carefully. After a period Of time you should convert to just a member and you should have access to any other area a member has.

My guess would be the OP tried to post in the "main" Uniden forum as their are no restrictions to post in the sub-forums.

" Forums for the discussion of all Uniden scanning radios and receivers. The main forum is reserved for Official Uniden Announcements. Please choose a sub-forum for any other posts. "

If you can post here, which you did, you can post in the Uniden sub-forums.

I would imagine you were on the main Uniden page and saw this message at the bottom "You have insufficient privileges to post threads here.". That just tells you you can't post to the main forum as it is reserved for announcements only. If you were to click on a sub-form you would be able to post there.

I think I mispoke earlier. It's not posting (as in replying to an existing post) I was trying to do. It was starting a new thread. But I 'll figure it out. Thank you everyone.
