ARCXT: Invalid PL in Dropdown List

I've been a user of the ARC-XT Pro for many years and always loved their product. Currently I'm using version 2.0 build 5.

Back in August, I noticed that the program's PL/DPL drop down menu failed to list a valid PL 206.5. Instead it listed an invalid PL 209.5. I tried to override the pull down menu and enter the correct PL directly into the PL column but no good. Apparently the only PL/DPLs that can be entered are those only contained in the program's pull down menu and since it wasn't there it couldn't be done.

I contacted Butel through their website email link and notified them of this problem. A couple days later, I received an email thanking me and letting me know that this issue would be corrected in the next build. I have been waiting since August for them to correct this problem which they've seemed to have ignored. I followed up with several emails to find out when the next build would be released, but they fail to respond or just reiterate that it will be fixed in the next build. I'm not sure why this seemingly easy fix has been ignored for so long.

The thread may be five years old, but some of us have present day concerns which need to be addressed. Perhaps you start a thread where we can express our issues and concerns.

this is another reason

i don't bother with pl/ctcss it just gets in the way.
and you have to hope many people copied the numbers correctly.
when i lived in new jersey one of the bergen county frequencies was the same for westchester new york.
after a while a liked hearing them. sure it would have been great to be able to put on pl and just hear my county but that was years before any radio thought of including it.
so to this day i rarely use it. i am happy to hear more than less. the only time it comes into play is on 467.85 and a bunch of users around the mall and the restaurants around it.
