Inyo County Change-over Status?

Now that it's been about a year since this was last discussed (and the thread is closed), did the changeover happen? Any updates on it's status? I drove thru the area a few weeks ago and I did hear radio traffic on the scanner in the car, but wasn't sure if I was hearing Bishop PD or Inyo SO.

I don't know about a lot of Inyo County, but I do know after speaking to a member of Southern Inyo Fire Protection (Tecopa-Shoshone area), that they "are using a new system that works much better than the old" VHF system. He wasn't a radio expert, but I heard the audio and it sounded like a digital system. I assume if SIFPD is using it, then a lot of the other parts of the county are as well.

Inyo County is using a private NEXEDGE system, as outlined in this agency agenda
